We first stayed at Taigh Mairi over a decade ago having found the property on the internet. We fell in love with it and have since returned once, twice and even three times each and every year. The views are tremendous and the owners very friendly without being intrusive, and on hand should the gas run out (it’s bottled), also delivering fresh eggs from their own chickens. We particularly love the quality of the fittings and linen, especially the ultra high quality hi fi which we adore listening to. We don’t really know why we are recommending Taigh Mairi so much though, as that will just make availability more difficult for us to return in the future!
